Victor Caruso is actively involved in all Pierian’s advisory engagements from inception through successful completion. Mr. Caruso has more than 30 years’ experience providing financial advisory services to management teams, boards of directors, special committees, debtors, creditors, investor groups and other constituents. Over his career, he has completed some of the largest restructurings in North America, Asia and Europe in a variety of industries. In addition, he has completed numerous middle-market engagements and provided expert witness testimony in connection with a number of court-authorized reorganization proceedings in various jurisdictions including the Southern District of New York and Delaware. Mr. Caruso has also served as an interim Board of Directors member.
Prior to the formation of Pierian, Mr. Caruso was a senior investment banker with major Wall Street investment banks including as a founding member of the Lehman Brothers Financial Restructuring Group. Mr. Caruso received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS from Miami University (Ohio). Mr. Caruso is a member of the AICPA, American Finance Association, Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from the State of Minnesota and an Associate Member of the New York Society. Mr. Caruso has been a panelist and speaker at various restructuring conferences and at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Caruso has also been recognized for the “Middle Market M&A Deal of the Year” and as an “Outstanding Investment Banker” by Turnarounds & Workouts.
